If you follow Bonearrow on instagram you've probably seen an array of super cool nails featuring in my posts. These can all be credited to the awesome Steffi Bras who has been fixing, polishing and saving my bashed and battered nails from the torment of daily life in a jewellery workshop. This year, Steffi took the leap of leaving her full time job training beauticians in waxing (another one of her specialist skills) to start her own business, Prickly Pear Beauty, based in Nottingham.
Steffi kindly took time out of her busy schedule to create these amazing halloween nails for me, and detailed a step-by-step guide to show how you can create cute but spooky designs yourself.

Steffi: I always loved doing nail art but working in a salon didn't really allow me to do the things I loved, that's part of the reason I started my own business, Prickly Pear. I love doing tiny pictures on nails the most, even though I might look at an idea that Clare brings me and think 'I can't do that'! I like to challenge myself though because it always ends up coming out better than I thought and I feel like I've really achieved something! I just have to think it through and break it down into steps. Everything is much easier if you can just focus on one small part at a time.
If you're thinking 'I can't do those nails, I can't draw!', well I can't draw at all either! If someone gave me an pencil and paper and told me to draw something it would be awful. But using nail polish seems to be more creating images rather than drawing them, because you're more moving around colour and manipulating it into shapes. So, here's the steps I took to create some of Clare's Halloween nails, good luck!
