I’ve been fascinated with Snapdragon Seed Pods ever since I first set eyes on them. Surely they aren’t real I thought, but yep, one autumn I went out in search of a snapdragon plant and there they were. Perfect little screaming fairy skulls, some with long pointy noses, all with terrified gapping mouths. I instantly fell in love and I knew I wanted to keep them forever, so, like Medusa turned her enemies to stone, I turned them to silver

These sterling silver snapdragons hang on an 18" curb chain.

This pendant will take 2 weeks to make from placing your order to shipping out. If you're not sure of your ring size you can order one of our handy little ring sizers here, or check our conversion size chart

Product information

At Bonearrow we believe in treading lightly as we go. This means that we try to use materials and processes that are as environmentally and ecologically sound as we can.

Silver

Most of the silver we use is recycled, meaning it has been melted down from scrap silver to be made into new jewellery.

Gold

We use mostly recycled gold wherever possible, and try to ensure that any other gold we use is fair-trade.

Stones

We buy our stones from various suppliers, all of whom we trust. Each of our suppliers have assured us that they buy their stones from people who are paid fairly.

Diamonds

Most of the diamonds I buy are fully traceable from a trusted supplier and originate from an award-winning mine in Botswana with no question of exploitation of labour. The Jwaneng mine (which means 'a place of small stones') is 50% owned by Botswana's government so profits are reinvested back into the infrastructure of the country. When other suppliers are used and I cannot guarantee the traceability of their diamonds, I ensure they are kimberly process certified. You can read more about diamonds here https://www.diamondfacts.org/

RETURNS
I hope that you love your Bonearrow jewellery and I want you to wear it every day!
As Bonearrow rings are made by hand in my workshop and not in a factory, each piece is unique and as individual as you are, with it's own character and 'flaws' which I think only makes it more beautiful. However, if you have any problems with a Bonearrow jewel you have bought please email me at hi@bonearrow.com and I will happily repair or replace it.
If you order a ring and it doesn't fit, don't worry, where possible I will either exchange it or resize it for you. However, if the ring you ordered was a custom make in a size you specifically requested, or, features a stone, resizing or exchanging isn't always possible. If you're not sure just email me at hi@bonearrow.com, I am always happy to answer any questions.
If you do need to return an item you will be responsible for return postage so if it doubt, please order a ring sizer or email me at hi@bonearrow.com if you have any questions before you purchase.

NOTE: Any jewellery that has been darkened or oxidised will wear over time to a brighter silver. If your silver becomes tarnished over time it can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. Though the best way to keep silver from tarnishing is to wear it!

Not everyone knows their ring size, and it can be really hard if you're buying a ring as a gift for someone else. And if you're buy-in gan engagement ring and don't know what size you need it can be daunting. But never fear, I'm here to help. I've got some handy hints to find out your ring size, and perhaps even more useful, sneaky ways to find out some else's!

How do I know my ring size?

Unlike earrings or necklaces where generally one size fits all, rings come in lots different sizes to accommodate lots of different finger sizes. Here at Bonearrow, I make most rings to order, in whatever size you are, so if you have tiny fingers or larger fingers (or 'sausage fingers' as lots of people say about theirs!) you can still find a ring that will fit you perfectly. There really is no such thing as a normal finger size! That's why I make rings in every size, no one is left out, even if you usually struggle to find rings that fit.

What if I only know my ring size in numbers?

In the UK we use letters as finger sizes that go from A to Z. After Z they are numbered Z1, Z2 etc.

American ring sizes are numbers from 3 to 14 ish, Canada is the same, whereas European sizes are also numbers, but go from 38 to 70+. Pandora ring sizes are based on European sizing.

If you need know your ring size in letters or want to convert your EU, Pandora or US ring size in numbers to letters you can convert it to a UK size using the chart below.
ring size letter to number and number to letter to number ring size
If you're a half size though (yes, you can be a half size!), an S 1/2 for example, just write in your order notes that you'd like an S 1/2 and I'll make it exactly that.

What if I don't know what size I am at all?

Well then, luckily for you we have a useful little tool that can help with that! If you have no idea what size you are I can send you a little plastic ring sizer that you can use to measure your finger and give your size in UK letters. You can order one here.

But, what if I need to find out someone else's ring size, you know, on the sly?!

Don't worry, I got you. Trust me, I've done this before. There's a few things you can do if you want to find out someone's ring size without them knowing...
Here's my top 5 sneaky sneaks:

1) The easiest way is to borrow a ring they already have that fits, take it to a jewellers and they will tell you the size.
2) Get my ring size cheat sheet and use an existing ring of there to check the size. This way isn't quite as foolproof as number one, but if you can't get to a jewellers this is your next best option. Just send me an email at ringsizes@bonearrow.com and I'll send you the free PDF.
3) Ask their friends or family - sounds obvious but someone might have already done the hard work here, so you don't have to!
4) Ask someone with similar sized fingers what their size is - This is tricky because it requires a very good judge of hand size. Fingers can be quite different and even a couple of millimetres can make a difference... But, it's an option and it sometimes works.
5) Buy one of our aforementioned Ring Sizers and covertly put it on their finger while they're sleeping. Hmm, on second thoughts, you're better off with any of the above.
If you are still none the wiser and have to guess, I'm are happy to exchange most rings for a different size if it doesn't fit perfectly, so long as it isn't a custom make or one of a kind. If you chose a bespoke engagement ring and it isn't a perfect fit, I will resize it for free for you.
