Pay the Ferryman - Spider Obol Disc Necklace
When souls departed to the underworld they were carried across the river Styx that separated the mortal realm from Hades domain by Charon, the Ferryman. But Charon did not work for free, he had to be paid. His fee was one Obol, and so a coin was placed on the eyes of a corpse to pay Charon's fare and give safe passage for the deceased soul into the underworld.
These Bonearrow Obols with either a spider or a beetle are made of Sterling Silver, more than enough to cover your journey.
This necklace will be handmade to order in my Nottingham workshop and will take up to 2 weeks to make, from you placing your order to it being shipped out.
If you're not sure of your ring size you can order one of our handy little ring sizers here, or check our conversion size chart. And, if you'd like a size that isn't listed, just add a note to your order with the size you'd like and I'll happily make it that way. Also, if you're not 100% happy with your little slice of Bonearrow, or if it doesn't fit perfectly, I'm always happy to exchange or tweak the size for you.
