There's something about the dark February skies that makes me just want to spend the night gazing up into the stars, so The Star card felt wonderfully appropriate when I pulled it for this month.

The Star is a card of dreams come true, of your highest wish granted - a card of magic, wonder and awe. For me the only stone that could match this kind of other-worldly power is diamond. When I pull a major arcana card for each month of the year I use that card to direct me to what stones to make a collection with, so, after almost a year in the works, The Star card told me that February was the month to launch my collection of diamond rings, Darkly Beloved - my biggest dream, my wish come true, a collection of alternative engagement rings for fellow dark hearts.

So, Kerry (aka Tarot Bella) has taken The Star card and drawn another to help you see where your brightest light shines, where your Star is and how your own wishes might come true this month.

The twelve signs of the zodiac are categorised into four groups of three signs, each ruled by a particular element. Find your element below to read your tarotscope:

Air - Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.
Earth - Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn.
Fire - Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.
Water - Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.

AIR SIGNS

The Star + Page of Cups

Creative aspirations.

The Star is a wish-come-true card and where other signs might hope for money, fame, love or fortune… you just want to the chance to be stimulated, creative, and in love with what you do for a living. It matters to you, because your intellect needs an outlet and work is where we spend most of our time, right?

The Page of Cups asks you to put your energy and efforts into being creative this year. So, it might be going for that dream job you always aspired to (do it, do it, do it), Or, it might be adding a creative side line venture to your existing work. Or, it might be taking a course you’ve longed to do in something you feel inspired about. Or, it could even be about getting very monk-like and FINDING the creative avenues and angles in what you already do. We can all reframe our existing experiences, and maybe it starts here. Take your daily tasks and find the creative possibilities in them, strength your thinking, jazz things up, add a twist.

FIRE SIGNS

The Star + The Hierophant

Campaign.

Like a pass from the cosmos to get what you want, The Star is a dream-come-true card, and should be 'spent' wisely.

Fire signs, you are altruistic and loving and warm. You stick up for the vulnerable, protect the weak, speak for the voiceless, and this wish will be spent on furthering the cause or campaign of something you truly believe will deliver that. You are 'spending' your wish on others! This is shown by The Hierophant card, which asks us to identify what we believe in, what 'bigger cause' we wish to contribute to. You can make money, friends, lovers, success for yourself anyway, you don’t need a wish to do that. Fire signs, I salute your social conscience, and I know that karma is watching too. You WILL be rewarded.

EARTH SIGNS

The Star + Justice

Vindication.

The Star card is a like a wish granted from the Universe to achieve whatever result you want in a particular area of your life… gosh, that’s a lot to think about, right? What would you spend it on..?

Justice gives a big clue. It’s about rectifying something that has been broken, damaged, torn or sullied. Maybe a relationship, a close one, maybe a reputation or self-esteem level, maybe an opportunity or ambition, maybe a financial investment or contract, maybe a job or role you liked. It wasn’t your fault- what happened, that is. It was down to someone else’s foul play, and you got burned by it, and it wasn’t fair. It has rankled with you for a long time, BUT, with this wish, you can finally be vindicated, and things can be resolved in your favour. This doesn’t mean going back to the past, it simply means revisiting it to see the life lesson and silver lining and asking now to be shown your reward, your prize for enduring that hardship well. And… it shall be delivered! Within the month!

WATER SIGNS

The Star + King of Cups

Dream lover.

What could be nicer than a dream-come-true? That's just what The Star promises. The King of Cups says that this wish will be in your love life, and THAT is probably nicer, right?

The King of Cups reveals passion, fulfilment, compassion, care, and intense bonding are ALL on the cards for you this month ahead, if you invest in your closest relationships (or object of affection, if you’re single) with intent. You can get what and who you want. You know that anyway, you’re a sexy Water sign!
Whatever you emit will be reciprocated, with bells on, so love freely and joyfully. Treat them, compliment them, tell them the truth, tell them how you feel and what you want. Be open and honest and warm, and things can heat up. Bliss awaits…
