The Marigold Tarot The Moon card with hands and gothic silver jewellery

Welcome to Scorpio season and its transformative New Moon! Scorpio is related to death and rebirth, the ending of one thing and so the natural beginning of another. In many ways this closely matches the energy of the Death card, but this month I chose The World for the card of the month. As the final card of the major arcana, The World symbolises the end of a journey in a slightly less scary way than Death. You have achieved a goal, completed a cycle... so what's next? Because there is always something next. Just like a New Moon faithfully follows a Full Moon.

With this in mind, this months Holy Stone is a crystal that will protect you on whatever journey you are on, attract good fortune and bring hope to all your endeavours - Turquoise. In many cultures Turquoise is a symbol of water and the sky, and has long been associated with the wisdom of nature. At a time when the human world is so focused on the Earth and how we can treat it better, I felt maybe we could all learn from, and lean on, the wisdom of Mother Nature through Turquoise.

WATER SIGNS

The World, The Tower

The World and The Tower reveal a kind of "crisis of faith" is unfolding regarding what you thought you were aiming for in your life. Stuff changes. The world moves on. Relationships ebb and flow. You have to change with it, but you find that super hard because your loyalties run very deep (even if they’re not rewarded). Water signs, think carefully about where you invest your energy and optimism. Renew your ambitions and plans, let them re-align with the changed circumstances. Build on a firm foundation. Be mindful and conscious. Refocus.

FIRE SIGNS

The World, The Magician

The World and The Magician suggest you’re setting up your own new "cult". Not in a negative way (a la Manson), but more of a positive, creative community (be this as part of your family, spirituality, business or lifestyle) which brings people together in a new way, led by you and your own beliefs and energy. You are literally a fire starter, a natural leader, and when you have a dream and can articulate it, others will buy in and follow you. This is starting right here! This is kinda the role you were born for. The World reveals our true and ultimate natures, and where we best serve, and this is IT for you! Go build that cult.

EARTH SIGNS

The World, Ace of Wands

The World pairing with Ace of Wands shows that you are coming into your own in finding your long-term ambitions and sense of self, shaking off the remains of childhood or youthful alliances or self-beliefs and finding your mature, authentic and true voice and what it wants to express. Your role within structures you’ve always played (such as family) is evolving, old habits and behaviours are fading to be replaced by new ones. You are growing, taking on more responsibility. It doesn’t feel like a burden, though, because it matches the growth of your character and strength too. This is who you want to be now and in the future, and this shift is live this month.

AIR SIGNS

The World, The Lovers

The World and The Lovers shows you’re going through an intense, emotive phase of rebellion as regards what your ultimate goals and ideal are. Air signs, you can change your mind more often than most, and new information always sways you. It’s hard to stay true to any one pathway or ~side~, when there’s always more than one truth and one possiblity. Don’t feel you have to commit to anything right now. You are free to float, to make up your own mind in your own time, to even hedge your bets and remain non-committed. Sometimes, you play the best role as a ‘Devil’s Advocate’ or free thinker. You are truly objective and rational. Keep that objectivity.
