Happy New Moon in Pisces!
This New Moon is the last of the winter months, the next, in March will be a spring New Moon. I suggest using this time to think about what you'd like to leave behind, to rot in the ground, in the compost heap of the final cycle of the wheel of the year, so you can take with you only what you really desire into spring.
This months card is Death. Purposely chosen for this time of year, when the ground is hard and the trees are bare but there is the promise of new buds forming, of the sunlight breaking through and the faint whisper of the earth stirring. Transformation is coming.
I've chosen Jet as my Holy Stone, which I matched with the Death card (naturally) in The Crystal Magic Tarot Deck. Jet is the stone of transformation as it has undergone its own extreme change, turning from wood and then fossilising and compacting over millions of years to be transformed again into beautiful jewellery, prized for centuries by people like me, like us.
