tarot card reading for the new moon the marigold gold and black tarot cards spread

This month there is no Holy Stone because I'm busy work on a whole new permanent collection that will *hopefully* be out at the end of the month! So, instead of one central card and a crystal, Kerry (aka Tarot Bella) has gone old school and pulled three cards to bring you your tarotscope this month.

Find your element and see what the cards have in store for you below.

Air - Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.
Earth - Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn.
Fire - Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.
Water - Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.

EARTH SIGNS

King of Swords, Death, Ten of Swords

Stop the comparisons.

Cut ties.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Earth signs, you are tough, especially when you feel you’re being taken advantage of, or wasting your precious and much-requested energy. The King and Ten of Swords combine forces to make you unstoppable this New Moon. And the target of your intentions is to end something which you now believe is becoming too difficult and draining to justify continuing. You feel angry actually, and you are itching to sever these ties and cut this toxic presence out of your life. These emotions are reinforced by an understanding of, and insight into, what has really been going on, and how you’ve been manipulated or leaned on unfairly. Enough is enough!
Death shows that this severance is important in many ways. Largely because it signals the end of a cycle, which leaves room and space for new and rejuvenating energy and opportunity to flow into your life, which it will. You have focussing on the wrong thing, and your change of heart is necessary and welcome. When you cull this role or person or activity from your life, you will sense a shift in mood and expectations. You will feel so much better.

AIR SIGNS

Three of Swords, Judgment, Three of Coins

Wise up.

You are torn between friends, or priorities, or loyalties, or roles. The competing Three of Swords vs the Three of Coins shows that you feel neglected or even abused in one place, and appreciated and rewarded in another, and it’s making you want to switch your allegiances and investments of time, energy and emotion.
Don’t ignore these feelings, and don’t just let the status quo continue. Act on your insights, and use them to redesign your life to reflect your new understanding about where you’re best appreciated.
Judgment shows this is a critical turning point for you. You feel older, wiser and shrewder about who with, and how, you spend your time. You recognise what you want, what you’re good at, where you’re valued, and you don’t want to waste time bothering anywhere else now. Life is short. We’re here for a good time, not a long time. Make it count.

WATER SIGNS

Page of Wands, Seven of Cups, Five of Coins

Reviewing the situation.

Many people think that it’s not the things that happen to us that define our lives, but HOW we react to them, and frame them in our life story. The Five of Coins means you are going to get a chance to practice this theory this New Moon, by reframing an old event that, up till now, you see as negative and painful.
There are no new details, insights or information forthcoming, this is simply and purely an exercise in your imagination, as shown by the creative-thinking Seven of Cups. This is about you looking back, with hindsight, and reframing the story into the bigger picture of your life now. Looking for wisdom, life lessons, messages, and positives or silver linings. Usually, we find that hard times change us for the better in the long run, building character and resilience, and maybe making us change course towards more fulfilling or prosperous avenues.
The Page of Wands means that you might not hit upon the answers rightaway, this could be a month-long project. Looking at the event from different angles, from others’ point of view, from your position now. Keep trying new lenses, until the a-ha! moments flow in. Which they will, I promise. This is a worthwhile exercise.

FIRE SIGNS

Six of Cups, The Moon, Queen of Swords

A blast from the past.

A big, pleasing and totally unexpected surprise comes hurtling into your life this New Moon from your past, as shown by the secretive Moon card and the nostalgic Six of Cups. It could be a new revelation about an event that you misunderstood, and now you discover what REALLY happened. It could be a past friend, lover or colleague who you once held great affection for. It could be a role or activity that once held you captivated, but it faded away.
Guess who’s back? Indeed. You’ll never guess, so don’t even try, just let this happy reunion unfold.
The Queen of Swords shows it will make you feel stronger in some way, and that, eventually, I don’t think this person / activity / revelation will remain for long in your world, but it will make a difference and create a new understanding about yourself and your past. It will be useful, and maybe even a catalyst for lasting changes.
Let’s wait and see who / what turns up…
